Contractor Terms
Last updated 30 July 2026.
What we are
We introduce homeowners to independent contractors. You are not our employee, agent, partner or subcontractor. You set your own prices, choose which jobs to accept, and are solely responsible for the work you perform and for carrying your own license and insurance.
What you're buying
You pay for a lead, not for a closed job. $100 for each lead you accept. A lead means a homeowner who asked us for help with your trade in an area you serve, and whose contact details we passed to you. Whether they hire you is your business to win — we don't charge more when you close and we don't refund when you don't.
Billing
We invoice at the start of each month for the leads you accepted in the prior month, charged to the card you keep on file. New contractors have a cap on how many leads they can accrue before their first payment clears. If a payment fails or goes unpaid we stop sending leads until it's resolved, and leads go to contractors who are current.
Lead credits
Reply to the lead message within 48 hours and we credit it automatically if the number is disconnected or wrong, the property is outside your stated service area, it's the wrong trade, it duplicates a lead already sent to you, or the homeowner never requested contact. We do not credit a lead because the homeowner chose another contractor, didn't buy, or wasn't ready.
How you treat homeowners
Contact them promptly, be straight about pricing, and do the work you said you'd do. Going around our messaging to solicit a homeowner outside the job we sent, misrepresenting your license or insurance, or mistreating a homeowner ends the relationship. We can remove you at any time, and a homeowner's experience outranks your volume every time.
Messages and consent
By signing up and providing your mobile number you consent to receive lead alerts and account texts. Reply STOP to end them — note that lead alerts are how the service works, so stopping texts effectively pauses your leads.
Limits
We don't guarantee any number of leads, any lead quality beyond the credit policy above, or any revenue. To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the previous three months. Nothing here limits liability that can't lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms and will change the date above. Material changes will be sent to you before they take effect. Questions: [email protected].
